“The Good Shepherd Preschool is a warm environment in which my daughter thrived, the staff can’t be commended highly enough for the work they do.”

Fundraising

We are a charity and therefore rely on parents getting involved. We hold a number of fundraising activities during the year which include the Christmas and Summer Fairs and an Easter morning. All profits go back into the preschool fund.

For those of you who have attended previously, you'll know how successful they are, not just for raising money but for parent/carers and the children to have some fun. Past activities have included cake stall, raffle, bouncy castle, face painting, crafts, book and toy stalls and tombola.

We try and include something for everyone, and are always looking for new ideas to keep them exciting and original, so if anyone has any suggestions for any other activities, or has a special skill or hobby that could be put to good use then please let us know.

We hold regular meetings that everybody is welcome to attend. However big or small your contribution, it's greatly appreciated. Keep a look out on this page for dates of all preschool meetings and come along and get involved.

Please keep checking our events page in regard to fundraising events

Over the year we host two major fundraising mornings, at the end of the Summer Term and Christmas, as mentioned above. During these events we rely on parents and carers to support the preschool, either by asking them to donate some lovely home-baked cakes, or raffle prizes. We are a small group that is run by a dedicated team of staff, who are greatly supported by a committee. Without their help there would be no preschool. If you feel that you could commit a few hours per half term and support the preschool by joining our committee, please do not hesitate to ask Melanie or Kerry or our Chairperson Rob McCleary. We truly need your support!!!
